Exploring Coffee’s Journey from Crop to Cup

If you’re a barista, this knowledge is essential to providing quality service to your customer. If you’re a home brewer, knowing the coffee’s journey can add value and enjoyment to your cup.

In just four hours, this online course allows you to experience coffee in a whole new way, from the comfort of your home or coffee shop.

During the course, your facilitator will lead you through a coffee cupping which you can do where you are, using standard coffee equipment and two coffees that you can purchase from your local roaster.

At the end of this course, you’ll take a written exam based on what you will learn during the course. When you pass that exam, you’ll get a certificate from the most widely recognized certification authority, the Specialty Coffee Association.

About Your Trainer

When learning important coffee skills, you want to learn from someone with extensive experience and an understanding of research-based coffee theory.

This is where I come in!

My name is Trent Rollings, I’ve been in the specialty coffee industry for 10 years, with experience as a barista, cafe owner, and coffee bar designer. I’m also a certified judge for World Coffee Championships. I use this experience as well as my personal coffee skills, honed over many years to help you learn coffee preparation during this course.
