Course Tracks

  • SCA Introduction to Coffee is a perfect starting point for coffee enthusiasts or anyone curious about the fascinating world of specialty coffee. Throughout this course, you'll embark on a journey tracing coffee's roots, explore the factors influencing its quality, understand the basics of roasting and brewing, and even experience a coffee cupping. The course concludes with an online knowledge exam. This course will give you a great foundation from which you can take additional SCA courses.

  • The Barista Skills track imparts critical theory and practical skills required for operating an espresso bar, including grinder setup, espresso creation, milk beverage recipes, milk texturing and latte art. Additionally, the curriculum delves into health and safety considerations, customer service guidelines, and foundational cafe operations topics.

    This track has three levels: Foundation, Intermediate, and Professional
